Radio Silence

A point and click horror game where you stumble in the dark, woken up from a scream, trying to find its source.

Drawing inspiration from analog horror, this game seeks to replicate the eerie ambiance of restricted information. It immerses you in complete darkness, severely limiting your visibility.

Design Goals:

  • Create a horror experience in the dark using sounds to create an eerie atmosphere.

  • Make an engine in game we as team are unfamiliar with.

What I Did:

Serving as the team lead for Radio Silence, I:

  • Created a product backlog, ensuring an adequately scoped project to be completed within 7 days.

  • Planned the game’s story and map, worked with artist and composer to coordinate sound cues and animations

  • Wrote the game’s story and in-game text. Converted into JSON format for ease of implementation into the game.

Stand-ups were held where the team walked through each queue and tested them in game in order test their effectiveness.
